Executives in the life science industries are seeking students to join their organizations who have a foundational education in Quality Science. In a world of rapid technological innovation, students will accelerate when armed with the critical thinking skills needed to make scientifically sound quality-based decisions. Through this program, you will be grounded in an understanding of “why,” so you have the confidence needed to navigate uncharted territory with agility, awareness and competence. What is the Cost? - 100% Covered!
Who is eligable for a 100% Scholarship? Students who are formally enrolled in a school/university when the Pathway semester classes begin, receive a scholarship for 100% of the cost ($3,600 value) - up to 300 students per semester. If you complete at least one course with Pathway, but graduate from your school/university before completing all 3 Pathway courses, you may continue in the program (at no cost) for up to 2 consecutive semesters.

What is the Curriculum? The Quality Science Education Micro Credential Program consists of 3 industry-developed courses, and 2 courses you take through your university. Check out the detailed curriculum, including sample class videos: Quality Science Education Curriculum
Duration: All 3 industry courses are offered during the Spring, Summer and Fall semesters each year. Check the Academic Calendar for important dates!
Time Commitment: Plan on spending approximately 3-5 hours per week for each course, which includes class-time and assignments. Summer semester commitment is 5-7 hours per week due to the shortened semester.
How is the program offered? The program is an online, pre-recorded program that is run with a live cohort of students. The Professor holds live online classes to prepare for the midterm exam and final exam, engages with students on ideas and questions, and may provide opportunities for live industry sessions. Also, Contact Pathway to find out if your school is offering the program for academic credit.
What is the Mentorship Program? You will have an opportunity to be paired with an industry member who has a background based on interests you express when you sign-up for the program. You will complete a short self-reflection to guide your discussion, and will have one 2 hour meeting with your mentor. You may both decide to continue the relationship!
What is the Outcome? Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive certification from Pathway that can be designated after your name as “CQSP” - Certified Quality Science Professional. Our goal is also for your hiring success through the Pathway Hiring Platform!
